Contract review (Buyers)
Liverpool conveyancers explain the legal jargon of the sale contract to help you understand the obligations. The contract review will include negotiations for revisions to clauses that pose unnecessary risks. We help you gain a clear picture of the sale before you sign anything.
Contract drafting (Sellers)
The sale contract should accurately reflect the ideal outcome and minimise the exposure to legal liabilities for sellers. Our conveyancers take the time to understand the goals of the sale and draft a legally compliant contract that meets your needs. We will also draft the vendor’s statement (section 32 document) on behalf of sellers.
Document preparation and handling
All documents must be prepared beforehand to minimise delays to settlement. We collect and securely store all essential documents, which include the title of the property, contract of sale, vendor statement and land plans, until settlement.
Due diligence checks
We will conduct property title searches, building inspections and existing easement & planning certificate checks during the due diligence process for our clients. Any issues uncovered will be brought to your attention and addressed directly with the other party.
E-conveyancing
Entry Conveyancing conducts settlement electronically through the PEXA system. The PEXA platform transfers documents and funds securely at settlement and is the industry standard system for all property settlements in New South Wales and Australia.

How conveyancing works for buyers
Understanding NSW property law is essential when purchasing property (especially for the first time). Having a conveyancer on your side will minimise risks and ensure that the purchase is legally compliant.
After signing the contract of sale, your conveyancer will start preparing for settlement. This involves a number of checks concerning the property condition and ownership, as well as coordinating with your financier to obtain loan approval.
On settlement day the conveyancer will finalise the transaction by arranging the release of funds to the seller in exchange for the property title, and register you as the owner of the property by making an application to NSW Land Registry Services (LRS).
How conveyancing works for sellers
Property sellers are responsible for providing buyers with a vendor statement (section 32) that outlines all relevant information about the property’s condition and title. Our Liverpool conveyancing team will prepare the vendor statement along with the sale contract before the property is listed for sale.
When potential buyers express interest, your conveyancer will be a key member of your representation to carry out negotiations and review suggested amendments from the buyer and their solicitor.
Once the contracts have been signed and exchanged, we handle all paperwork involved in facilitating work to meet conditional clauses and prepare the Statement for Adjustments.
Property transfers in Liverpool
Transferring a property between family or friends, even without the exchange of funds, must be conducted in line with NSW property laws.
